What is pink Himalayan salt used for ?

In Pakistan, it is the most famous salt. It is a raw, unrefined salt, rich in trace elements and not iodised. Himalayan salt is red, pink, off-white or transparent. The pink shades of rock salt are due to the presence of iron oxide.

Pink salt is used in cooking in the same way as ordinary salt. History of the cup
