Giant Wooden Dice Set

Dice are used in many games. The best known are played with 2 dice like Craps, with 3 dice like 421 or with 5 dice like Yahtzee or Yams. Reiner Knizia, a world-renowned German game designer, reports that he has found 150 different dice games, which he explains in his book Dice Games Properly. Dice were found in the Indus civilisation in 2400 BC. Dice identical to those we know today have been found, with 6 sides and 6 small holes. Generally cubic with 6 sides usually numbered from 1 to 6 and therefore the values of the opposite sides is equal to 7.

Dice have also been used as objects of divination. The Greeks claimed to be the originators of dice. According to Sophocles, the dice were invented by Palamedes, a Greek hero in Troy during the siege. Archaeologists have found dice in Troy. Ancient Greek vases also show Trojan war heroes playing dice.

However, the dice we offer are larger than usual. These giant dice will please many players, both young and old. These dice are therefore perfect as birthday presents or as gifts for a party with friends. An original wooden game gift, to learn many dice games and have hours of fun.

Clapperboard

An unusual gift idea? An original decor idea? The cinema clapper. The clapperboard is a symbolic object of cinema. It was already used in the silent movies, and its name originates from tap dancers. Even if today the professional claps have become digital, the black wooden clapper remains associated with the cinema and has become a beautiful object of decoration.

The clap announces with its particular noise the start of the shooting. The tap is shown briefly in front of the camera at the start of each recording to identify the shots and to number the scene. These are benchmarks to facilitate the synchronization of sound and image during editing. This nice clapper is an original idea to decorate your dining room or your bedroom. You can put it on a piece of furniture or hang it on the wall. A fantastic idea to give to a movie buff or a teenager who loves science fiction or action movies.

An essential accessory to animate an event on the theme of cinema or to make your own videos. It adds a fun touch to your shots. The clapperboard is in black wood. As with a real shoot, fill in the boxes with chalk with the name of the director, the title of the film, the camera used and the number of the scene. A fun and playful gift on the occasion of a birthday.

Mask to personalise with an...

Throughout history, masks made of pig bladders with crow heads have been seen during major pandemics. Today you can personalise the mask you buy with the muzzle of a pet or why not a tiger. During periods of plague, masks with the shape of a bird's beak were made for doctors with medicinal plants that were supposed to kill the various infections attributed to the epidemics. The models of the masks have never ceased to be revisited in an attempt to improve them. Archive photos show that the miners wore masks to protect them from all the flying and suspended dust during their activities at the bottom of the mine. Around 1850, medical masks appeared. Charles Urbain Bricogne, a French engineer, developed a mask to protect against dust, dust which was dangerous to the health of railway employees. At the dawn of the 20th century, the occupants of the tanks were obliged to put on a mask to protect themselves from the paint and iron debris coming from the walls due to the consequences of shell and bullet impacts. Today, multiple means of protection are used: visor or face screen. These are systems already in use in various sectors of activity whose common aim is to protect against all types of projections. Visor used in metallurgy, welding, etc. Masks to be personalised with the muzzle of an animal, dog, cat, tiger, an indispensable gift for those who care about the health of their loved ones. Gift for him, gift for her, gift for mum, gift for dad fun gift

Mask to personalise with...

In Europe, just a few months ago, wearing masks in Japan seemed very exotic. At the beginning of the pandemic in Europe, when masks were scarce and were available at prohibitive prices, many of the citizens, generally the most agile with their hands, made protective masks in a very artisanal way. They were often made with whatever they could get their hands on, without really being sure they had the right technique, nor the right fabric, and the motifs of the masks were of little importance. Sometimes fanciful or even plain without a soul. Today, the price of masks has fallen sharply. With the mask we offer you at a democratic price you will have an authentic protective mask and a design that brings out your personality, your identity, thanks to a graphic like a tribal tattoo. Behind its abstract designs and complex lines the tribal motifs were created thousands of years ago. They evoke the elements of nature (earth, fire, water, air, ocean, sun), animals (turtles, lizards, shark teeth), each with its own symbolism. Power, eternity, purity, immunity, fertility, the values carried by these tattoos are numerous. Ancestral and religious practice at the beginning to become today a fashion phenomenon through the subjects of the tattoos. Ideal gift to emphasize or bring out the ornaments, the motives which enthuse you..

Chinese Checkers

Chinese checkers probably do not come from the Far East, despite their name. On the other hand, Chinese checkers are a variant of the game Halma, a game created in England at the end of the 19th century by the American George Howard Monks, who invented a game called Halma, a name derived from the ancient Greek meaning "jump" but also an ancient pentathlon event.

This first version of the game is played on the grids of a 16x16 square board. The version we know today was adapted under the name Stern-Halma (Halma: star) and patented in 1892 by the German company Ravensburger. This version of the game is played on a star-shaped game board. However, it can be seen that there is a rather similar version on a star-shaped board in Asia...

When the game was first marketed in the United States by the company J.Pressman & Co. under the name "Hop Ching", the expression "Chinese Checkers" was used for the first time. However, this game in its initial square form is still called "Halma" in many countries... Gift idea for playing with the family, a very nice wooden board game gift. Original gift idea for a birthday, or for the end of the year celebrations.

Star Wars Elite Praetorian...

Protect the First Order! The Elite Praetorian Guard makes sure the great leader is protected. The guards are equipped with red armour and hunt down the rebels with bravery.

Star-Wars fans.

The elite Praetorian Guards were the guards of Supreme Leader Snoke, serving the First Order during the conflict against the Resistance. They wore red armour and robes reminiscent of the royal guards of Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine.

Description

The name of the elite Praetorian Guards dates back to the time of the 14th Emperor of the Empire of Atrisia. The Guard consisted of eight sentries divided into four pairs, each wielding unique weapons. Each pair of guards wielded a different weapon: two guards, including the First Guard, wielded the electro-bisento, two others, including the Third Guard, wielded the Bilari electro-chain whip, two others, including the Fifth Guard, wielded the vibro-Arbir and the last two wielded the Vibro-Voulge. They were also trained in several martial arts such as the Bakuuni Hand, Teräs Kasii, Echani and techniques from Nar Kanij.

Story

The elite Praetorian Guards confront Kylo Ren and Rey after Snoke's death.

Serving Supreme Leader Snoke during the conflict between the First Order and the Resistance, the elite Praetorian Guards were often found in Snoke's throne room on the Supremacy. They usually stood behind him and were ready to intervene.

Shortly after the Battle of D'Qar, when Kylo Ren went before Snoke and tried to stand up to him, the guards drew their weapons but then decided to put them away after seeing Snoke use Sith lightning on his apprentice. A little later, when Kylo Ren brought Rey to his Master, they again got into a fighting stance when Rey tried to resist Snoke by grabbing Kylo Ren's lightsaber. Finally, they prepared to fight Rey and Ren to avenge Snoke's death, which they had been unable to prevent. A violent duel ensued, during which they demonstrated their considerable combat power. Despite their fierce resistance, all eight Guards were killed by their opponents. The elite Praetorian Guards first appeared in the 2017 film Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. Their name was taken from LEGO set leaks on 13 July 2017. The name was confirmed in an interview with Rian Johnson for Entertainment Weekly, in which the director said he was inspired directly by the Roman Praetorian Guard.

It's a game that starts from a situation that is usually random and disordered and ends in a well-defined order, following predetermined rules. There are different types of puzzles, geometric games (i.e. mathematical games), logogram games, numerical games, card games, so the best-known puzzle is undoubtedly success, etc... But the best-known puzzles are the Puzzle and the Rubik's Cube... The first puzzles were called "Stomachion", a square game divided into 14 parts, which had to be put together in a predetermined order and could be combined in many different shapes. Puzzles were very popular at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Professor Hoffmann published a book with the title: "Puzzles old and new." Giant dominoes

Dominoes can be played almost anywhere, whether they are made of wood or plastic. In the past, dominoes were made of bone or even ivory. So there are many different kinds of dominoes with countless variations, some of which are very amusing.

A domino is made up of simple blocks that can be combined and assembled in many ways from very simple to very complex. It is a game that requires and demands a lot of skill and strategy. There are Chinese, English and European dominoes....

Archaeologists have reportedly found dominoes in ancient Egypt and among the Arabs, but the origin of the domino is attributed to China around the 12th century. Dominoes first appeared in Europe in Italy in the 18th century and from that time onwards they spread throughout Europe.

Dominoes became the most played game in living rooms, pubs and families, becoming one of the most popular games. Dominoes are played by 2 or 4 people with 28 blocks. Each block is divided in two on the top side and has numbers (but not always), sometimes the same, but often different, but always unique.

The principle of the game is to take turns following a pattern with your blocks, block by block, trying to match the identical face of your block to the identical face of the competitor's block. When a player cannot place a domino, he picks a piece and passes his turn.

The winner is the one who has placed all his dominoes.

This giant domino is a classic game gift, an original gift idea for a birthday or an unusual gift for the holidays.
