A pack of cards is made up of a number of cards illustrated on the front side, of various subjects on a particular theme and all having a different value and decorated on the back with a common theme to the game to allow for anonymity when a player holds the cards in his hand. When the cards are collected in a pile it is called a card game and is a social game: as it is most often played in society but some card games can be played as solitaire games. Many regions have card games with their own specific traditions, practices and customs. The varieties of card games are important: yellow dwarf, canasta, rummy, poker, jass, bridge, crapette, belotte, tarot, battle etc... These games all have different rules, which can vary from one region to another. Some games are played with 32 cards and others with 52 cards or 54 with the 2 jokers. Some card games are dedicated to a single game and unusable outside a specific context, such as the monopoly card games ("Community Box" and "Chance") Monopoly, which elsewhere cannot be played without its two packs of cards. Salt crystal Himalaya...

What is pink Himalayan salt used for ? In Pakistan, it is the most famous salt. It is a raw, unrefined salt, rich in trace elements and not iodised. Himalayan salt is red, pink, off-white or transparent. The pink shades of rock salt are due to the presence of iron oxide. Pink salt is used in cooking in the same way as ordinary salt. However, it is mainly sold as a gastronomic product because pink Himalayan salt contains less sodium per serving than white salt. The rest of the production is used for other purposes, such as cosmetic applications: scrubbing and exfoliation, bath salts for relaxation and detoxification, but also in handicrafts, for the manufacture of lamps, candleholders or other decorative objects. Each lamp is unique in its shape, colour and intensity. The salt block is simply hollowed out to accommodate a light bulb. Ideally, the salt lamp should be placed in a dry and well-ventilated area, for example on a glass plate. Indeed, humidity can cause a slight condensation under the lamp. Secretary day poem to...

Secretaries' Day was born in 1951 in the United States to make up for the national shortage of qualified office staff. The United States and the United Kingdom celebrate them during the last full week of April and especially on Wednesday. In Europe, the Secretaries' Day was born in the 90s. In Belgium, we celebrate secretaries and executive assistants on April 16. They are celebrated in France and the Netherlands on the 3rd Thursday of April. We offer you a personalised poem with the first name of your executive assistant to thank her for her dedication, patience and kindness. Secretaries' Day is a time to pamper someone who tries to support you as best as possible in your professional life. The Secretaries' Day is undoubtedly the ideal day to show him your gratitude for the work accomplished every day. Whether it is a box of pralines, a flower, a present or simply a personalised poem to accompany your gift, an intention of the day is always appreciable towards the profession. Don't forget to celebrate your male or female secretaries, as this profession deserves admiration and respect. In the madness of our daily tasks, we sometimes forget to take the time to appreciate the very essential work of our assistants: dedicated, flexible, attentive, discreet and sometimes better organized than us. Real rare pearls! It is often in their absence that we realize that we cannot do without them. So think about giving them an original gift to say thank you on the occasion of Secretaries' Day.

Himalayan salt crystal...

What is a salt stone lamp? Have you heard of salt stone lamps (and candle holders)? A unique and comforting decoration to create a warm atmosphere in your home. The lamp is suitable as an accent light in a bedroom or living room. Its purpose is not to illuminate the room, but to give a feeling of well-being. They are thought to purify the air and, due to the emission of negative ions, they partially neutralise the action of electromagnetic radiation and help combat insomnia. The salt crystals emit negative ions, an effect that is increased by the heat generated by the lamp. These negative ions will then counteract the positive ions, naturally present in the atmosphere due to air pollution. The lamp will then have a cleansing effect. Although they are safe, there are few scientific studies showing that salt lamps have any real effects on health. However, users report that they have a real impact on their stress levels. Salt lamps are ideal for improving well-being. Their orange light is relaxing. In chromotherapy, the colour orange promotes reconnection between body and mind and soothes us. They are recommended during a meditation or yoga session to create a relaxing environment. They are also calming when working at the computer. Himalayan salt crystal...

Where do salt stone lamps come from? The region where the salt is mined is called Khewra. Kherwa, about 160 km from Islamabad, is a town in the foothills of the Himalayas in the Punjab region of Pakistan. The origin of the fossil salt corresponds to the evaporation of an inland sea 800 million years ago. The formation of the Himalayas raised the soils of the region and caused the salt rocks to outcrop near the surface. According to legend, the mine was discovered by Alexander the Great's troops in the 4th century BC. His army's horses, tired after a battle, regained their strength after licking stones in caves, thus discovering the salt deposit. Commercial and artisanal mining began in the 13th century under the Mughals. In the 19th century, the British improved access to the mine by levelling the previously dangerous mountain road, upgrading and securing the drifts and building warehouses to allow industrial mining. As of 2012, the Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation operates the mine, which has proven mineable reserves of at least 82 million tonnes. Kherwa is also a major tourist destination, attracting over 40,000 visitors each year. The mine can be visited on foot or by small train pulled by an electric vehicle built in the 1930s. The salt caves are home to unusual sculptures and structures, such as a mosque built with luminous salt stones of different colours and a statue of the great poet Mohamed. Who deserves a lamp or a candle holder made of Himalayan salt from Gifts-custopolis.com, mums and dads of course! Himalayan salt lamp or candle holder, an unusual gift for Mother's Day, an original gift for mum, a gift idea for Mother's Day.
